Heritage Lottery Fund Application Support

Make your application stronger with help from an official NLHF mentor

The National Lottery Heritage Fund awards grants that can help transform community and heritage organisations. The fund dispenses grants aimed at developing heritage projects. This grant amount varies from £3000 up to £5 million depending on the project in question.

If you’re considering applying for the Heritage Fund, remember that applications are prioritised by projects which will boost local economies, encourage skills development and jobs, support wellbeing and create better places to visit. The fund also supports the resilience of organisations working in heritage.

When navigating the application process, work with Janice Tullock Associates. We are experienced mentors for NLHF applicants and can help guide you through your application to ensure it has the best chances of success.

What is the Heritage Lottery Fund?

The National Lottery Heritage Fund is available to heritage projects which “connect people and communities to the national, local and heritage of the UK”. It is a grant award given to organisations who are successful in the application stage, with varying amounts paid depending on requirements and scale.

Heritage is defined by the NLHF as projects which improve nature and landscapes for communities, community archaeology, museums, libraries and archives, cultural traditions and much more. You can visit the official site to see which projects are eligible – but we can also use our experience as mentors and successful applicants. 100% of our Activity Plan clients have been successful in securing funding. Our clients have secured over £47 million in funding.

How We Can Help

As experienced mentors to the Heritage Fund, we are able to offer advice and guidance to applicants or potential applicants. This includes everything from assessing your current project’s suitability through to helping you build a strong application.

Activity Planning

One key part of our work with fund applications is activity planning. We’ll work with you to plan how your project will attract and engage people. This involves carrying out research and consultation with people, which we can do on site, off site or remotely – with some of our audience research taking place everywhere from football stadiums to libraries to the Grand Prix!

Let’s drive our nation’s heritage forward together and help you gain the grant you need to launch a successful project.
